Once again, Assistants\u2019 Day 2025<\/a><\/span> was an absolute highlight for us \u2013 filled with exciting moments, warm encounters, and that contagious energy that makes our community so special every single year. \ud83d\ude4c<\/p>

What inspired us<\/strong><\/h2>

As always, there were countless conversations about the topics that shape our everyday work:<\/p>

  • Further education and career paths<\/p><\/li>

  • Challenges of professional transitions<\/p><\/li>

  • Developments in the assistant role and business support functions<\/p><\/li>

  • And of course, many short but meaningful catch-ups \ud83d\udc9a<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Keynote & conversation with Steffi Buchli<\/strong><\/h2>

    The keynote and subsequent exchange with Steffi Buchli<\/strong> were truly inspiring: honest, approachable, and straight to the point. It was all about attitude, presence, and the power of not just functioning in business, but creating impact. One phrase in particular stuck with me \u2013 the brilliant expression \u201csich verlangstrumpfen\u201d<\/em> <\/strong>\u2013 which immediately found its way into my active vocabulary. \ud83d\ude1c<\/p>

    On stage: Assistants recruitment between expectations and reality<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>


    This year, I had the pleasure of joining Ute Barnickel<\/strong> and Christine Bachmann<\/strong> from Miss Moneypenny<\/strong> as a panel guest to discuss a topic close to my heart: \ud83d\udc49 \u201cAssistants recruitment between expectations and reality.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

    The session was lively, insightful, and could easily have gone on for hours \u2013 but the closing ap\u00e9ro was already waiting. \ud83d\ude1c\ud83c\udf79 The key takeaway: expectations for assistant roles have grown rapidly in many organisations. All the more important, then, to clearly define requirements, make competencies visible, and design recruitment processes that are realistic, fair, and future-proof.<\/p>

    A huge thank you for all the positive feedback we received on the day \u2013 it truly means a lot to us. \ud83d\ude4f<\/p>

    An equally big thank you goes to my fantastic Office Manager, Jocelyne<\/strong>, who once again managed me flawlessly throughout the day. Without her, everything would have run only half as smoothly. \ud83d\udc9a<\/p>

    Why this day matters<\/strong><\/h2>

    Assistants\u2019 Day reminds me every year how important the role of assistants and business support professionals really is \u2013 and how much power, professionalism, and heart this community brings. \ud83d\udcaa This unique mix of pragmatism, empathy, and excellence often goes unnoticed in daily life, but at Assistants\u2019 Day it\u2019s tangible in the strongest way. That\u2019s exactly why we love this day. \ud83e\udd70<\/p>

    Looking ahead: Assistants\u2019 Day 2026<\/strong><\/h2>

    SAVE THE DATE!! We\u2019re already looking forward to the next Assistants\u2019 Day on 9 September 2026<\/strong> \u2013 and we\u2019ll definitely be there again, with open ears, plenty of questions, and even more enthusiasm for exchange and networking.<\/p>
