Why is our agency named “hearts and brains”? Are we a dating agency somehow…? 😂 Well, in any case, I need to elaborate a bit to explain (or you can just watch the video 😉).
The motivation to become self-employed stemmed, above all, from my desire to work differently than typical agencies. Everything seemed too unsustainable, too impersonal, and overly KPI-driven…
When I was recruiting as a hotel manager, I already placed more emphasis on personality and mindset than on certificates and diplomas. This led to having more team members with unconventional backgrounds. This approach was also important to me when establishing my own agency.
👉 I wanted to recruit “DIFFERENTLY” – with more focus on the person behind the CV!
👉 I wanted to recruit more sustainably – building long-term relationships with candidates.
👉 I wanted to show that the real value of a headhunter lies in their candidate network.
👉 I wanted to prove that successful recruitment is possible without job ads.
👉 I wanted to show that an encounter on an equal footing is important and right in recruitment.
👉 I wanted to prove that the “human factor” is indispensable for successful recruitment.
👉 I wanted to show that the “best” candidates are not always the ones with the “best” CVs.
Certainly, I could probably list more “I wanted to…” here. 😱😁 After almost four years in the market, I can say – yes, this is exactly how I want to work and not otherwise, and everyone in our team shares the same opinion. For us, the person behind the CV is crucial. We talk to countless candidates every week to continue building our network.
And for us, the “𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀” represents everything that is written in the CV – certificates/diplomas, experiences. The “𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀” represents the personality, mindset, the “𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝘁” that we consider crucial for making matches in most recruitments. “𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀” simply stands for our beliefs, our values, and how we work – with heart and mind! 🧠➕💚
On our website we have consciously decided against gendering. We see no reason whatsoever to emphasise differences when it is actually about recognising everyone as equal. We see and value everyone as an individual, regardless of gender and for us everyone is equal and equally welcome.
