Our client is a Swiss company with locations throughout the country and part of a globally active international group. We have been exclusively mandated to fill the position of executive & strategic assistant to the CEO. This role supports the CEO comprehensively in all administrative, organisational and communication-related matters, as well as in strategic projects. It also provides situational support to other executive board members on cross-functional topics.

A particularly exciting and challenging aspect of the role is the setup, leadership and coaching of a back office and front desk team across two locations, as well as managing an executive assistant within the CEO office, who focuses on administrative support. The role also includes planning and coordination of high-level corporate events, along with involvement in digitalisation, transformation and process optimisation initiatives.

Tasks

  • Comprehensive support for the CEO, including calendar, travel and meeting management

  • Proactive involvement in and support of strategic projects in areas such as strategy, finance, organisation and operations

  • Leading projects in process optimisation and tool implementation

  • Additional responsibilities in corporate communications, including the creation of reports and decision-making documents

  • Interface management with internal and external stakeholders

  • Leadership of a back office/front desk team and one executive assistant

Qualification and Experience

  • Commercial diploma (KV) with further training in digital office management, project management and/or business administration; at least 5–8 years of comparable assistant experience with project responsibility
  • Fluent in German and English; good knowledge of French is an asset
  • Initial leadership experience and proven track record in project management
  • Strong IT affinity, structured and efficient working style with high standards of quality and strategic thinking
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think in networks and strong entrepreneurial thinking
  • High service orientation, empathy and a hands-on attitude
