“Daily Routine”? And why I’m so grateful for my elephant memory… ♥

Honestly, there isn’t really a “daily routine,” because every day is different, and that’s a good thing! However, what seems to be common across all days are the numerous conversations, phone calls, interviews I conduct, the simultaneous projects and mandates I manage, and the fact that every day brings new faces, names, and intriguing personalities into my life.

The challenge, of course, is to keep track (and often keep calm 😂). Whether it’s remembering names, the current status of projects, preferences, backgrounds, specific search criteria, or anything else… 😱
And that’s where I am immensely grateful for my elephant memory 😉, which often prompts disbelief and questions, sometimes isn’t as helpful as I’d like 🙈, but ultimately tremendously aids me in my work. ✨😇

Of course, we utilize various tools to gather and retain information, manage projects, and above all, simplify and streamline our administrative and organizational processes to be more efficient. I’m a big fan of AI and especially of Jocelyne 😉, who handles everything superbly and consistently brings new optimization approaches. ❣️

However, in our business, the “human factor” is crucial to finding the “perfect match.” It’s only through this that I can discover the person behind the CV, take the time to speak with candidates whose resumes might not immediately impress, engage with career changers, and uncover such exciting talents. For me, this is the only right way to find the personality that best fits a role, a team, and a company. From my perspective, this cannot be “digitized” or automated through an algorithm. ❤️
