Assistants deserve a voice.

And sometimes a glass of wine in the morning too.

The new podcast from Miss Moneypenny is live, and this time I’m joining the conversation to talk about “Recruiting in the world of Assistants”.

I spoke with Editor-in-Chief Christine Bachmann about why this role is still so often underestimated, what the market currently looks like and what really matters in a recruitment process, from both the employer and candidate perspective.

The podcast also touches on questions that others simply do not ask. On mindset, not just “skillset”. On confidence in how you present yourself and in interviews, especially for Assistants.

And one of my favourite quotes, “Hire for attitude. You can always teach skills.”, also found its place. Because to me, it is far more than just a saying. It can be the deciding factor in whether a match genuinely works in the long term.

And yes, we started with a (small 😇) glass of wine. For purely professional reasons, of course. 😉

Thank you, dear Christine, for such a great conversation!
