Our client is SAINT GOBAIN, a globally operating conglomerate, which includes brands such as Sanitas Troesch, Weber, Rigips, Isover, and Vetrotech here in Switzerland. We have been tasked with filling a newly created position that has a dual mandate. On one hand, it involves the payroll responsibilities of Saint Gobain Weber AG, and on the other hand, it entails further development of a virtual Shared Service Center Payroll, aimed at standardizing and optimizing processes within the Swiss companies. For this, we are seeking a payroll professional who enjoys leading and developing a team, as well as engaging in building, project management, and process optimization. A wide range of exciting tasks awaits! The contact person for this role is Elke Rottmann.

Tasks

Ensuring and monitoring payroll for the assigned Saint-Gobain companies in Switzerland
Operational payroll tasks for Saint-Gobain Weber AG
Further development of the virtual Shared Service Center Payroll incl. management and development of the team (4 employees)
Continuous further development & process optimization, implementation of a new tool (scheduled for 2025)
Contact person for all payroll and social security-related issues and interface management (HR and SSC Finance)

Qualification and Experience

Commercial training, further training in the areas of HR, payroll and/or social insurance
At least 5 years of payroll experience, ideally initial leadership and project management experience
Very good knowledge of German & English, good or improveable knowledge of French
Enthusiastic leader with empathy and a passion for building something and making a difference with a team
